Narkanda :



Narkanda a small town situated in Shimla Himachal Pradesh India. It is 65km far from the Shimla district. This beautiful place surrounded by the Himalayan range, It is an altitude level is 2708 Meter. If you are visiting Narkanda, So you should visit the HATU PEAK. To reaching the Hatu peak it will take 2.5hours from Narkanda. The local transports running on a daily bases, but if you don’t want the public conveyance than you can hire personal cabs. .Christ Church : Christ Church is located in Mall road Shimla. It is the second oldest church in North India after Saint John’s Church in Meerut city Uttar Pradesh state, India.

. Gaiety Theater : Gaiety Theater is located on The Mall road. It was opened on 30th May 1887. So many famous film stars have performed here. Today, the Gaiety is firstly known for its social club. This theater used by the school for performing art.

. Kali bari temple : The Kali bari temple was built in 1845. It is dedicated to the Hindus goddess Maa Kali. It is nearly located in mall road Shimla. The temple premises kept well maintained and fresh. Devotees visited here in large numbers every season and feel the calmness and peaceful environment.

 . Johnnie was museum : It is the first wax museum in Himachal Pradesh situated on Mall road Shimla. The wax museum was inaugurated on May 11, 2016, by Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh. The museum feature wax statues of popular personalities from different fields as Bollywood stars, Hollywood stars, Politicians, Sports. Johnnie’s Wax Museum owns 16 statues, which are handmade in London. These statues look realistic in real cloths, faces. Charges for adults is 250rs/-. For the Five years of children, it is free of cost.

Tara Devi :



As we know Shimla the capital of Himachal Pradesh is a place where so many temples dedicated to different god and goddesses. Every temple has there owned history and respects. So one of the most famous Hindus temples in Shimla is TARA TEVI TEMPLE, which is situated 11km far from Shimla nearly Shoghi and Kalka national highway. It was built way back 250 years. The temple is dedicated to Maa Tara. As Maa Tara is a manifestation of Maa Kali. In this spiritual and religious place, not only Hindus but many different communities devotees and tourists visit here to feel the mesmerizing beauty of nature. This temple situated on the hilltop. You will be amazed to see the breathtaking view of mountains and deep valley views from the hilltop. Fresh air will fill your heart with pleasure.

Every Sunday and Tuesday, Langar is organized here. food, fruits, and Prasad is served to the devotees. Mostly the Langar created by those devotees who making some wishes here to God and promised to offer Langer after fulfilling it. The opening timing of the temple is 7:00 am and closed at 6:30 pm every day. The local transportation is available here to reach this place. Jhaku temple :



The Jhaku temple also known as Jhakoo temple, which is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is situated on Jhaku hills 2.5 km east of the Shimla Ridge. The height of 2,455m above sea level. It is the giant peak in Shimla. The story behind this temple related to Ramayana Kaal.When Shri Ram’s younger brother Laxman was injured and unconscious by an arrow hit by Meghnath, than a Rishi told Hanuman Ji to get a herb called the Sanjeevani booty from the Himalayas to cure Lakshman. After reaching the Himalayan, he was unable to find the correct herb, so he carried an entire mountain back with him. The Rishi found the correct herb and used it to cure Lakshman. On his way back to the said mountain, Hanuman rested on the Jakhu hill for a short while. 

The Hanuman Ji statue is 108 meters tall which is the tallest statue of Hanuman Ji in this world. Well, the temple is old but the statue built in the early 21st century and unveiled by Abhishek Bachan the Bollywood star on 5th Nov 2010. Every year at the time of the Dussehra festival held here. On top of the hill, you will enjoy the spectacular view of Shimla. You can reach the Temple through your feet and enjoy an adventurous journey. The Cab facilities are available there, so can find easily. The Ropeway facility also available here, it is nearly 5-6minutes far from The Ridge.
